Community Events

The library provides a safe and comfortable environment for studying and quiet reading. Libraries serve special needs in the community. They encourage reading by lending books and other materials to help the residents to improve their reading skills. In 2008 the Elizabeth Estates library implemented a Reading Enrichment Programme in order to encourage students to read at least one book per month. In addition to books the library also helps people to build their computer skills by providing computers and Internet services

Summer Programme

Every year in July the library hosted a summer programme for children in the area.  This programme runs for three weeks and caters to children between the ages of five and twelve.
